The City of Toronto Ombudsman is considering doing a formal investigation of whether the City of Toronto is living up to its responsibility to be a "sanctuary city". However, the Ombudsman's office first needs evidence about whether non-status persons are having trouble accessing City of Toronto services.
RNSWN is doing a survey to learn more about experiences with accessing City of Toronto Services. They will use the results of the survey as a basis for the feedback they give to the City of Toronto Ombudsman. The hope is that this survey and the resulting feedback will contribute to the improvement of access to City of Toronto services for people without status.
The survey is available by clicking on this link
The survey is confidential and should take about 5 minutes to complete. The deadline for responding to the survey is July 31, 2016 at 11:59 pm. Please feel free to share the survey with other community members or service providers who have experience with these issues.
If you have any difficulties with the survey, contact RNSWN at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your participation is very much appreciated by RNSWN!
