Walls Have Eyes (French play with English surtitles) raises awareness about domestic violence. People often witness violence, but stay mute. This play targets the ones (the walls) who see violence and stay passive - often until it's too late.
Following its successful Toronto premiere and its tour of Simcoe county in Ontario, A.M. Matte’s play Les murs ont des yeux (Walls Have Eyes), is back on a Toronto stage for one more night.
Join Benoît Trudel, Michèle Tredger, Barbara-Audrey Bergeron, Aleks, and Geneviève Fontaine in a production directed by Magalie R Bazinet on Sunday, December 4, at 7 p.m., at the Distillery District’s DanceMakers Studio #313 (9 Trinity St.).
The play, in French, has English surtitles. The opening act is comedian and poet Richard Glen Lett, in English.
